Ten 21st Century Horror Comedies

This post does what it sez on the tin, folks: I present for your viewing pleasure (trailers below!) some of my fave horror comedy flicks (so far!) since we entered this maniacal millennium. As with last week's post, you're getting them in chronological order; click the title for their IMDB pages, which will tell you more about them and also where you can stream them.

PS: Also like my last post, my selection criteria was 1. What have I loved, 2. What can be found on one of the big three streaming services (Amazon Prime VideoHulu, & Netflix) OR free (with commercials) on sites like PlexPluto, and Tubi, and 3.What I haven't already blogged about.

PPS: Just 'cause they're funny don't mean they ain't gots the scares and the gore. Viewer discretion advised.

Psycho Beach Party (2000)
I'm taking liberties with this one, as the 21st century didn't technically begin till Jan. 1, 2001, but this flick's too much fun not to include (it's the ginchiest!).

Severance (2006)
Work is hell. Team-building exercises are even worse.

Slither (2006)
Dontcha just hate when meteorites crash into Earth and let slip the slugs of war?

Zombieland (2009)
You, too, can survive the zombie apocalypse, so long as you follow the rules.

Housebound (2014)
If you must be under house arrest, can it at least not be a haunted house?

Deathgasm (2015)
The evil entity makes work for idle metal-rockers' hands...

Willy's Wonderland (2021)
Nick Cage battling possessed animatronics is the movie I never knew I wanted but totally needed.

Fresh (2022)
Dating really can be murder.

They Cloned Tyrone (2023)
Just 'cause you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

Totally Killer (2023)
Have a side of time-travel with your slasher flick!
