I thought of that desperation which accompanies the hunt for something greatly desired and/or needed. Desperation, yes...given the subject of my previous post, it's no wonder, really.

Go on, then. Reveal unto the world what that word inspired in your little gray cells.
If you dare...
Glasses. My husband has been losing his glasses a lot lately, so I've spent a lot of time helping him search for them.
ReplyDeleteThis is a cool game. I like it!
Aw, that's so sweet! :-)
DeleteI thought of "seizure", probably because I'm watching Law & Order. I'm highly uncomplicated :)
ReplyDeleteYOU! Dude, I tried visiting your blog only couldn't - I think I got a message like I had to be invited or authorized to read it, or something... :-( If you need an email addy from me to give me permission, it's aoorooo at gmail dot com. Add me, yo!
DeleteI thought, "find." Just the word "find." And then I started thinking that if you search long enough, you'll eventually find something. "Seek and ye shalt find" I guess?
ReplyDeleteThe second thing I thought of was "The Search," the series of Avatar: the Last Airbender comics where the characters look for Zuko and Azula's mother. I just read them, haha.
That's surprisingly optimistic for me, that I immediately thought of "find" as the conclusion to "search." Hmm. Though searching and finding, for me, implies a lot of determination and persistence.
Yes, that is a very optimistic response, one that hadn't come to me as I considered my own response to the word prompt...I dig it!
DeleteHaving just come from reading Google News, I instantly thought of the 18 year old who ventured down to the coast in Devon to take snaps of the stormy waves on the 2nd Jan and hasn't been seen since. They presume he's been swept out by the tides. I hope they're still searching now... :(
ReplyDelete:-( I'm so sorry. My heart goes out to him and his family.
DeleteWhat came to my mind is my fave Chicago song, 'Searchin so long'. I LOVE that tune so much.
ReplyDeleteQuelle romantique!
DeleteI went straight to find. I search and search and search because I'm eager for that destination...to FIND whatever the heck has me searching lol!
ReplyDeleteAnother optimistic response, rock on!
DeleteGoogle. That was it. Yours was much better. :)
ReplyDeleteI like your answer too, though! I was just saying to someone yesterday, "What did we do before Google?" And she said, "Nothing, we were just ignorant." LOL! :-)
DeleteA sense of hope that there is something worth finding out there. On a bad do though it could be a hopeless yearning for $10 to buy a box of wine!
ReplyDelete.......dhole
Good point; hope underscores a search, for sure.
DeleteLike Tonja, the first thing that popped into my head was "Google." Time for me to fear how my brain's been corrupted...? XD
ReplyDeleteHah! Not yet, I don't reckon... ;-)
DeleteSearch for the truth.... whatever that means. My brain and I have communication issues. Probably three days from now I'll wake up completely sure of where the connection came, and it'll be so OBVIOUS! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe truth? I CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!!! :-D
DeleteWhen I saw "Search" I thought of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Not romantic at all, huh? Your take on it is much better.
