Not being completely stressed out of my head by the rigors of participating in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge the past few days has felt weird. So I decided to stress myself out some more (because, as has already been noted by me, I am crazy, insane) by building a complete playlist of all the tuneage I blogged about for the Challenge last month on Grooveshark.com, as they've got a nifty embedding tool that would make it easy to plop! a player here on mah bloggy-blog. Only as I built the playlist I realized not all of the tunes were uploaded, which I figured I could resolve by uploading whatever was missing. But when I tried to upload a tune, I couldn't, which was le suck...
So then I built a playlist on YouTube. Only I wasn't able to build a complete playlist as some folks don't cotton to having their vids as part of a playlist.
Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.
SO, I'm embedding both the Grooveshark and YouTube playlists, hoping that if one doesn't have a tune, the other will. (Most annoyingly, I couldn't get Danzig's "Killer Wolf" on either. Gah!)
NB: Some videos/songs contain explicit lyrics and images and may not be safe for work.
LOL Mina, you are a glutton for punishment aren't you? *kidding* This was an awesome idea! I know what you mean about not knowing what to do with yourself now. I hadn't planned on writing any posts at all for the rest of the week after the challenge was over...well I've already written two. In a way though, I'm relieved. Kinda thought that maybe I would lose my spark for a while.
Good for you! Well, you know that old saying about objects in motion tending to stay in motion...I admit to crashing immediately after 4/30, but my mind's been busily grinding away, setting a new blog course. April was tough, but worth it, in so many ways!
Wow, I didn't even know you could do playlists on Youtube and I have never even heard of Grooveshark! Does that make me a dinosaur?! Probably. I will go and listen - thanks. I know what you mean re wanting to blog more - I immediately signed up for another challenge LOL Glutton or what?!!
I only know about Grooveshark because my smart-ass Kid told me about it. :-) Now I'm gonna check out your blog to see what new challenge you've taken on! (You madwoman, you!) ;-)
I've got a new blog. I can't afford to stop blogging. I need to build on the momentum. Plus, I like blogging. I'm not making any money at it, but I like blogging.

I've read that regular posting is one of the keys to a blog's success - so good on you! And yes, it's fun. It's work, but it's fun work! :-)
DeleteRight. This idea rocks very, very hard. It's now my evenings soundtrack. Bravo Mina, and Brava.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thanks, Wayne!
DeleteI think it's great you're trying to put everything in one place. I couldn't get everything from You Tube, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Theresa. :-)
